A Typical Session
Your initial session will be 90 minutes long so that there is time to discuss your responses on the Client Information Form. Future sessions will be 60 minutes long (or 90 minutes, if you prefer).
For an in-person session, you will lay down on a massage table. For a remote session, you should find a quiet, comfortable place to sit or lie down such as a couch, chair, bed, or carpeted floor. Please wear comfortable clothing. There is no need to remove any clothing.
Each session is often slightly different than the one before due to where healing is needed on or around the body to balance your energy.
Before Your Session
Before your session, think about why you’re seeking energy healing and what outcome you would like to achieve. For example: Do you have a physical pain that you’d like addressed? Do you want to reduce stress? Do you want to feel more joy in your life?
Prior to your first session, you may electronically fill out the Client Information Form and email it to me at [email protected]. I will review your answers prior to your session. You can also wait to fill it out in person at the start of your session. At your session, I will ask you some further questions to help me get a better picture of you and your needs. I will also have you read and sign a Client Consent Form.
Prior to your first session, you will need to electronically fill out the Client Information Form, read and “sign” the Client Consent Form, and email both of these forms to me at [email protected]. I will review your completed Client Information Form prior to your session. At your session, I will ask you some further questions to help me get a better picture of you and your needs.
During and After the Session
People have different responses to energy healing. Some clients feel nothing at all. Most describe sensations of warmth or tingling, deep relaxation (sometimes to the point of falling asleep), feelings of being supported and nurtured, or visions of images and colors. Some clients experience an emotional release such as anger or sadness (tears); some have what they consider to be a spiritual experience or they may develop insight into specific areas of their lives.
Drinking water after the session will help with the healing process as well as taking a bath or shower with Epson salts or magnesium flakes. There are additional things I may suggest at the end of your session to help ground you and integrate the energetic changes. You may not notice any immediate changes; sometimes it can take up to a week or two before you notice a shift in energy.
